Consultancy, Research and Testing Services

The CRTS was established under the department by a resolution of the BOG of the Institute. The aims of the CRTS are to stimulate the Mechanical Engineering research and training and to render services in form of testing and consultation in the field of Mechanical Engineering. The highly trained experts of the department are rendering expert services to government, semi-government, and autonomous and private agencies through CRTS. A committee called ?The CRTS Committee? consisting of the Head of the department and all faculty members of the department manages the affairs for activities of the CRTS. The CRTS builds up its own fund mainly from a partial deposition of fees/charges received from rendering technical services and functions independently in matters of its assets and liabilities.
