DUET MME Alliance

Mission: 

1. To develop skilled, ethical, and competent Materials and Metallurgical Engineers through academic excellence.
2. To foster a strong research-oriented mindset and encourage student participation in research-based activities.
3. To provide training and guidance for higher education, including IELTS and other competitive examinations.
4. To support career development through BCS and government job preparation programs.
5. To strengthen mutual relationships, teamwork, leadership qualities, and professional ethics among students.

Vision: To cultivate a research-driven academic environment among students and prepare them for national and international-level competitions, while establishing a sustainable culture of excellence within the Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering. The organization plays a significant role in developing leadership qualities and professional competence through a range of academic and co-curricular initiatives.

Academic & Research:

•  Formation of research teams and implementation of research projects
•  Research-oriented courses and hands-on workshops
•  Seminars and academic workshops

Career & Skills:

• IELTS training and English language proficiency programs 
• Career talks and guidance sessions with industry professionals and support for higher education and competitive examinations

Social & Co-curricular:

• Annual award-giving and recognition ceremonies 
• Social, cultural, and co-curricular engagement activities and participation in national-level competitions

Membership Requirements: Membership is open to all regular students of the Department of Materials and Metallurgical Engineering (MME) at DUET from the first year to the final year. Students from other departments of the university who have a strong interest in materials science and wish to collaborate on materials-related research projects are also eligible to apply. All members must comply with and adhere to the constitution and regulations of the organization.
