Srijoni

Srijoni is the official cultural club of DUET. Established in 2003, the club works to promote and preserve Bangla and indigenous culture by engaging students in diverse cultural, social, and creative activities. Srijoni serves as a platform where students can develop their artistic talents and social responsibility while celebrating the rich cultural heritage of Bangladesh.

Mission:

• To promote the authentic development of Bangladeshi culture.
• To celebrate national and international days with proper respect and cultural programs.
• To celebrate various festivals of Bengali culture.
• To represent DUET in national and inter-university cultural competitions.

Vision:

• To expand cultural activities beyond the university campus.
• To establish a strong cultural reputation for DUET at the national level.
• To actively participate in national and international cultural platforms.

Activities:

• To organize workshops, training sessions, and competitive programs in music, drama, dance, recitation, and fine arts, along with cultural and educational initiatives.
• To encourage reading, writing, and communication skill development and represent DUET in national and inter-university cultural competitions.
• To undertake social welfare initiatives, including blood donation and tree plantation activities, and to support underprivileged communities during national emergencies and relief efforts.
